Time Matters does not come loaded with contact photos.
However, Time Matters can be forced to accept contact photos using Powerviews.
Requirements:
- All Contacts capable of receiving a photo should have a unique number assigned to it. Contact numbers, when automatically assigned and forced to be unique, make a great candidate.
- Provide a share directory for the photos. I like to put these in the same network share as the Time Matters files directory.
- Some knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and edits made to Powerview templates in Time Matters (don’t forget Messenger if you use it)
- Customizable Clipboard template.
- Recommended: dock the “Snipping Tool” (Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Snipping Tool) in the quicklaunch bar. You may wish to customize the snipping tool default borders from Red. I chose black.
To grab the photos, use the Microsoft Snipping tool. This eliminates headaches from trying to convert from GIFs, PNGs, etc.
- Drag the box over desired picture.
- Open Time Matters.
- Find the desired contact, copy to clipboard with a customized template that includes the path.
- Save the content of the snipping tool by pasting your clipboard into the save name dialogue.
